Margaret has had a life-long commitment to service work. She was a Bonner Scholar while she was in college and has participated in and help lead church service projects. She also has extensive training in conflict resolution, nonviolent communication, nonviolent resistance and community organizing. She is a Quaker and feels that her faith has grounded her commitment to serving others and working for systemic justice. She graduated with an M.Div from Princeton Theological Seminary in May 2013 and is preparing to take a job as a Quaker pastor. She lives with her wonderful husband and a sweet 11 month old son.
